Gold Medal for Orano Projects Limited: Recognising Six years of Health and Safety excellence

Orano Projects Limited is delighted to have retained its Gold Medal from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), having achieved a gold award for Health and Safety for the sixth year in a row.

This medal recognises a very high level of performance and outstanding control of risk, for an extended time period, and the company is proud to have demonstrated its ongoing commitment to health and safety at work.

With over 40 years of experience in the nuclear sector, safety has always been a cornerstone of Orano’s work in the UK, whether in the form of the in-depth safety case support it delivers to clients, or within its culture of supporting the safety and wellbeing of its teams, and we are glad to lead by example.

David Nicholls, Head of UK HSE said, “it is always good to have our hard work recognised, although it obviously doesn’t stop with an award. The safety of our employees and the wider community is of upmost importance, and we will continue our commitment to it.”

This has been reiterated by Orano Projects Limited’s Managing Director, John Storer, who said, “this most recent award from RoSPA, our second consecutive Gold Medal and sixth successive award, demonstrates and recognises the commitment of Orano Projects Limited and all its valued employees to working safely as our first priority”.
