In Orano, the Orano Projects Business Unit (OP BU) brings together nuclear fuel cycle engineering expertise to serve the group’s facilities and external customers. Its services range from Operational Support Engineering to full Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM) missions. OP represents:

- On the Nuclear fuel cycle; Mining, Uranium chemistry, Enrichment, Spent fuel recycling, Dismantling and Waste management,

Orano Projects Limited asserts itself as an integrated, market-focused organisation, capable of delivering engineering projects and technical consultancy to new and existing clients in the nuclear industry. Both consultancy and engineering teams will provide a UK and international gateway to the full spectrum of Orano capabilities, while maintaining the full range of services currently offered to its clients across the nuclear lifecycle, with hands-on and local support available throughout the UK.
One of our main focuses now is to grow the Engineering team and we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to integrate our Mechanical discipline team. Based in our Warrington office on Birchwood Park, we are looking for top-quality people who welcome responsibility and are keen to deliver technical studies on projects or bids.
Within the Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer will integrate operational engineering multi-disciplines teams delivering projects at various phases, from FEED to commissioning, or in assistance to Plant Operation in the UK.

The individual will have a relevant Masters’ degree and engineering delivery experience (up to 5 years typical). They will also have worked for UK nuclear sites.
