Three Orano team members shortlisted for external industry awards

Every year we recognise the great work being undertaken by our teams in the UK, by submitting nominations for external industry awards. This year all three of the individuals we nominated have been shortlisted in their respective award categories.

We are exceptionally proud of the work our teams in the UK carry out. It enables us to provide consistently high-quality, and technically-astute deliverables to our clients across the nuclear sector, which supports our continued growth as a business in the UK. To recognise the talented and committed people in our team, we regularly nominate teams and individuals for external industry awards.

This year we have so far submitted nominations for three members of our team: Leigh Brown for Britain’s Energy Coast Business Cluster’s Rising Star Award, Nancy-Lynn Foster for the Nuclear Safety and Risk Forum’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and Lewis Norton for the Nuclear Safety and Risk Forum’s Rising Star Award. We were therefore delighted to receive news that all three of them have been shortlisted in their respective categories.

With Lewis and Nancy-Lynn working in our Nuclear Safety team and Leigh working as our Lead Document Controller in the UK, all three have made a significant and lasting impact on our business, allowing us to maintain close and trusted relationships with our clients and bring the full value of our local and international capability to the UK nuclear sector.

Our Managing Director, David Batters, said: “At Orano we aim to be kind, be proud, and be bold in everything we do. Nancy-Lynn, Lewis and Leigh are key members of our team, who demonstrate these values on a day-to-day business, bringing expertise, commitment and the drive to make a difference to the work they undertake. Their shortlistings reinforce our belief in them as oustanding members of our team.”

Well done to Nancy-Lynn, Lewis and Leigh, and best of luck for the awards ceremonies happening later this month and in November.
